Kaiser Maximilian Lauf

Kaiser Maximilian Lauf

Thanks for your participation in this year's Kaiser Maximilian Lauf! We are currently working at full speed to be able to run the challenging Kaiser Maximilian Lauf again under the best snow and cross-country skiing conditions in January 2021. Thanks to the excellent network of trails and the reliable snow conditions in the Olympiaregion Seefeld, the Kaiser Maximilian Lauf is one of the highlights of the cross-country skiing season every year! The date for the race has already been fixed for January 9, 2021.

However, due to the current situation around COVID-19 it is not certain if the Kaiser Maximilian Lauf 2021 can take place. We will keep you up to date with all updates in this regard!

The venue of the Kaiser Maximilian Lauf is the picturesque Olympiaregion Seefeld, which is located on a sunny plateau at 1,200 m above sea level and is known for its snow-sure winters. The event offers the original race course of 60km and the shorter version over 30km in classic cross-country skiing technique in the midst of a stunning alpine scenery.

Partly on champion-tested tracks, the course takes you from Seefeld via Mösern, Wildmoos and Leutasch before heading back to Seefeld and if offers everything that makes a cross-country heart beat faster: challenging climbs, easier flat sections and exciting downhills with a total height difference of 835 metres.
